SMS & Messaging Terms

LeanSync delivers your daily plan primarily by SMS. These terms describe our program under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and related rules. They apply whether you use SMS, Telegram, or another supported channel.

1. Consent

By providing your phone number during signup and checking the SMS consent box, you give LeanSync express written consent to send you automated text messages related to your training plan, account activity, and service updates.

Consent is not a condition of purchase. You can use the web portion of LeanSync without opting into SMS, although the service is designed around SMS and is significantly reduced without it.

2. Message types

  • Daily plan and check-ins.
  • Weekly report summaries.
  • Account and billing notices.
  • Occasional product updates (only with your opt-in).

All messages are automated by default. Your assigned certified trainer may send non-automated messages as part of your weekly review.

3. Message frequency & rates

Message frequency varies with your usage — typically one to two messages per day during active training weeks. Message and data rates may apply.Check with your wireless carrier for your plan’s specifics. LeanSync does not charge for messages; your carrier may.

4. Opt-out — STOP

Reply STOP to any message to opt out of all further messages. You will receive one final confirmation message and then no more.

You have been unsubscribed from LeanSync messages. You will no longer receive texts. Reply START to re-subscribe.

5. Help — HELP

Reply HELP at any time to receive support information.

6. First message after opt-in

Immediately after you opt in, you will receive this confirmation:

LeanSync: You’re opted in to receive training messages. Msg freq varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help.

7. Identification

All LeanSync SMS messages identify the sender as “LeanSync” in the body so you always know who is messaging you. If you receive a message claiming to be from LeanSync but you didn’t opt in, reply STOP and email privacy@leansync.fit so we can investigate.

8. Consent logging

When you opt in, we record: the timestamp of your consent, the IP address you opted in from, and the exact consent language shown to you. This record protects both you and LeanSync in the event of a dispute.

9. Carriers & delivery

Supported on all major U.S. carriers. Delivery is not guaranteed; network conditions occasionally delay or drop messages. We are not liable for delivery failures outside our control.

10. Privacy

LeanSync does not sell or share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes. Your phone number is used solely to deliver the Service. See our Privacy Policy for the full details.

11. Emergencies

SMS is not for emergencies. Messages are not monitored in real time. If you have a medical emergency, call 911 or your prescriber. See our Communication Disclaimer for the full boundary.

12. Telegram

If you choose to use LeanSync via Telegram instead of SMS, these program rules still apply except where expressly linked to U.S. carrier rules. Telegram messages are not subject to TCPA.
